The mission of Legacy, CCK's Women's Ministry, is to encourage women in their love of Christ, knowledge of His word, and growth in godly womanhood through events and opportunities unique to women.
We hope Cornerstone Church of Knoxville will be a place where women find great joy through the gospel and its transforming effects as they treasure Christ and his word.
At CCK we believe that men and women have been created by God in His image, yet with wonderful distinctions that reveal something of the beauty of God. Though there is widespread confusion in our culture about gender, we hope Cornerstone will be a place where the glory of God’s word, creation, and gospel will be on display through godly masculinity and femininity.
Through Legacy, we strive to further these goals by applying the Titus 2:3-5 principle of godly older women mentoring younger women. By providing opportunities for this kind of discipleship to occur, we want to help women pass on the legacy of the gospel and adorn it through the beauty of godly womanhood.
Beginning on August 29th at 7pm, our Fall Legacy Groups will begin. These times offer the women of Cornerstone an opportunity to fellowship together and grow as we study God's word and its application in our lives.
