Father + Son Campout
We had a great time at Frozen Head State Park for our annual Father + Son Campout. We caught crawdads together and created a little arena to watch them battle each other. We played Mountain Ball and learned that dads are much more competitive than their sons. Samuel Barbee laughed hysterically as he covered himself in glow in the dark liquid. (It’s actually a very wise way to keep track of your kids in the dark.) We ate breakfast cooked over a fire and did morning devotions together. We caught salamanders. We went on a hike. We played in a waterfall. We built dams, explored the small river. And we became warriors. Most importantly, we made memories. Thanks again for the guys who served us, planned the campout, helped us invest in our sons. Thank you.
